Dentist thats Good with children

Post by LondonLady » Wed, 08 Apr 2009 7:22 pm

Hi everybody

Can someone please recommend a dentist thats good with children? Ideally located around the west or towards Orchard area if possible but we would be willing to travel further if the recommendation is good.
Also are any of these part of the group that accepts Cigna Medical insurance?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi London Lady - just a suggestion, in the interim, maybe check with your insurance company if they have an approved list of providers here, then you can compare that to any suggestions you receive here. Some insurance companies are pretty strict about which providers they will reimburse you for.

I have not yet taken my kid there but I have seen a lot of kids in the waiting room, they have a corner playroom as well.

My wife, daughter and I are all patients of Dr. Chin at TP Dental, as outlined by QRM below.

He's terrific, as are the dental assistants and reception staff. Better than any dental practice I've been to in the US.

My daughter is 4, and didn't flinch a bit during either of the 2 checkups she has had with Dr. Chin.

hmmmm tongcarryll seems to really like his dentist recommended him in 7 identical posts, so its safe to say steer well clear of that one if they have to resort to spam to get clients
