Happy new year to everyone!
Hi Huinee
Happy New Year to you too... :D
Yes, my church mates, who dunno abt my Liposuction, saw me recently said i've slim down alot. ;)
I'm happy that I can see my thighs getting smaller now, but still have to wear the compression garment cos my skin is quite saggy on my inner thighs, whereas my arms, buttock and tummy are ok. :)
Tummy though not fully flat but look smaller than before i went for the lipo.
I will need a tummy tuck if I want a flat tummy... which I dun think I dare to go for it. :?

As for getting pregnant after u've done lipo is not so advisable leh.
I think it is quite waste of money to do lipo then get pregnant again, as u know most ppl will put on weight after giving birth.
Though there are some ppl still remain slim slim...

And if i'm not wrong, my surgeon did ask me whether do I still have the intention to get pregnant when I 1st went to see him for consultation in Sept 2010.
Another thing is, the tumescent fluid that being injected to the fats in our body also dunno will do harm to our baby or not. So it will be better to check with ur surgeon again, or/and ask a few others surgeon before u decide to do so. :)
Hi reyko,

Saw your post here and I am considering Dr PICHET as well. Just want to know how have u been after all these years? Do you have any lumps after the liposuction.??? Have your figure stayed the same?

And I have been told that the procedure will take about three hours. Man!! it sounds scary to be under IV Sedation for that duration.

I am doing vaser for the flanks (lovehandles) and the upper and lower abdomen. And my doc suggest that at most, only 1.5 litres of fats would be removed.

Frens who have undergone this procedure, please advise.
Vaser lipo? Is it this vaser hi definition liposuction

are all lipo vaser or vaser 4D hi def is a brand? man, i keep hearing my friend recommending korea over singapore, but I think the long flight is not worth it. better do in singapore man

martzchrt wrote:hi all,

i went for vaser on tummy & lovehandles 1.5 wks ago, thot i can be of some help.

the one i went to is at central square area, not sure if he is a gp or not. but got cert in vaser & stuff...

he charged 6500, which is for 2 areas, with compression garment, 3 RF, medications & bandages.

he used LA with sedation too, which was fine. basically, after injection, u fall asleep in less than 10sec. when u r up, u dun even feel a thing, just a little drowsy. so its a must to have someone bring u home. i think i was even a little high after that, cos i was laughing & kept asking my hubby to look at my 3 big bottles of fat

when home, the areas hurt quite a bit. not because of the wound, but really like severe exercise cramps. the areas are also a little numb due to the liquid pumped in. there are also bruises, which will look worse the next day. immediately, i saw a reduction (cos i was quite big after my preg). but very uneven due to my stretchmarks & healing liquids etc still inside i think. there was leakages at my lower wounds only (combi of blood & liquid), near to the pelvic bone. my hubby helped to massage to push the liquid out. not painful at all. after about 10mins, there were no more leakages. a tip from my dr: if the bandages dun help with the leaks, put sanitary pads instead. fm my exp, best is the maternity type, cos not sticky tape & its cotton. very easy to bandage over.

the next day, there is basically no more blood or leakage. but more cramp-like pain & bruises.

now after 1.5wks, the area is definitely smaller. but not like super slim lor. its best u take pics of the areas before treatment, so that after comparing, u can see that the areas are really smaller after treatment. like tat, u will not keep thinking that the dr did not do enuf. cos we always will want those super slim bodies, so we will tend to think that the dr did not take out enuf.

i am wearing my compression garment everyday, 24/7. 1 fm dr, 2 corsets bought myself. u can get those cheap ones, like less than $50. now, i will take out about 1-2hrs so that its not so hot.
Hi martzchrt! May i know who is your doctor and the name of the clinic? Sorry for requesting after so long!

Tessadi wrote:Hi Love bear,

I thought you mentioned that you just did your tummy?

And you wanna do again?

Mine's pretty reasonable. About 6k-ish.

Coz am doing a few areas.

If the tests are all good, then I'm scheduled to do it next tuesday.
Hello tessadi, sound like your surgeon charged you quite reasonably. I hope it wont be too late for me to ask who is your surgeon and clinic? You may email me at [email protected]

I just done my vaser lipo on tummy, abdomen and inner, outer, back thighs at total S$14k with Dr Colin Tham at AHP. Compression garment, medication and scar laser treatments are inclusive in the price.

Total lost 1.2 inch at waist, 2" at hip and 2.1" per thigh.
Total fat suctioned about 2.1 litres and lost about 350ml of blood - you should be able to see the container after surgery. Traditional lipo will shed more blood and more blood means greater swelling & bruising.

The vaser was a good experience. The pain lasted 1-2 days only and i can go to work on day 3 no pain & without pain killers. Bruises gone in a month, swelling 6 weeks and I can see my new body contour and the contour is permanent.

As long as I keep a balanced diet, healthy lifestyle, exercise regime, I can maintain my new shape. But if I happen to gain weight in future, I will still go back to Dr Colin again and perhaps try his signature high definition vaser.

For that extra few thousands, i rather do it in Singapore.

Although lipo is permanent shaping, it is definitely not a quick fix.
The entire recovery process can take 3 months, are you going to fly in & out of Singapore for follow ups or laser treatment?

You will also have local support system, your family and Singapore surgeons are already highly skilled with many years of sound reputation.

Hi I’m bringing this old topic up again. I would like to get your reviews and recommendations for Vaser. I’m interested to try vaser for my arms and am open to GPS or surgeons as long as price is reasonable. Please share!
