I travel nearly all the way across the island daily by bus and MRT (bus at each end) Quite comfortable and airconditioned. And yes, the tend to arrive and end up when they say they will (except some lag during peak rush hour). If you use the combination of bus & mrt it's quite okay as the feeder bus services are almost always ontime. It's only the long haul buses that occasionally get held up by inconsiderate car drivers in the bus lanes!
