Hair stylist for blondes
I am looking for a hairstylist/colorist who has experience with blonde hair, and has reasonable prices. I was originally going to Toni & Guy (as I went to them back in Houston) but they are a little expensive. Any suggestions?
Has any one been to Colour Bar on East Coast Road near Siglap shopping center?
Or can any one tell me places not to go?

I just posted my hairdressers details on another post. Her name is Allison and she works out of a salon @ Katong Mall on the east coast. Her number is 90178407 and she also advertises in Expat Living. She is awesome at cutting and my blonde friends go to her for their colouring. She is great can't rave about her enough.

sorry for late reply
Sorry for the late reply as I don't check the site often. I went to Toni and Guy on East Coast Road. The lady who colored my hair did a wonderful job and I was equally pleased with the cut also.
My only gripe is that they were extremely expensive- S$300+ and very pushy about buying extra products. Just because I am white doesn't mean I am rich! It is time to get my roots touched up and now I'm looking for some place cheaper but haven't decided where to go...

Nk Hairworks
Well I ended up going to NK Hairworks in Parkway Parade Mall and I'm not 100% happy with what I paid for. The people were very nice and definitely not pushy about selling products, but there were hidden costs that I was not informed of when I called initially. My hair looks ok but I don't like to spend a fortune on my hair or be cornered into paying for certain things. Think next time I'll stick with Tony and Guy...
How this helps some.

Thanks for the update, Nikki. Crisis was averted when I had to go back to the states suddenly and was able to visit my favorite salon - so I'm OK for the next few months.
If I have to do it here, I guess it's best to pay a lot at Toni and Guy than pay less, but regret it. That's what we get for living in a sea of brunettes... =)
