How to Cancel my PR while staying outside singapore?

Post by lrajavelu » Sat, 04 Apr 2009 11:46 am

My Singapore PR expired and I am out of singapore and didn't renew my PR.

Can anyone tell me the procedures I need to follow to cancel my PR and get a letter from them and give it to CPF board to close my account.

I am calling ICA, all the time the lines are busy, no reply to the emails too. Only an automated mail reply is coming.

Regards,
Raja

Go to the nearest Singapore Consulate and explain to them what you want to do. They will get you sorted out.

Not sure where you are writing from but there is a list of Singapore Missions on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, the following is just an example:

You will note, under PR services (click the link "Permanent Resident Immigration Services", on the new page that opens you will find links for terminating your PR status as well as a link for the withdrawal of your CPF.
