where to buy good posters

Post by julinico » Fri, 03 Apr 2009 8:40 pm

Posters like classic/70s rock posters, vintage film posters, etc.

Where can I find them here in SG?

I'd go to Allposters and have them shipped through a third party shipper to the Singapore. They can fit a lot of posters in a single tube.

There's a shop in Esplanade. Don't remember the name but I think on the 1st or 2nd level.
It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

I just bought 4 posters from Allposters.com .
It has been shipped on 29/06 but up until now (14/07)
I haven't received it.
The email confirmed that I'll receive it on 9July-14July-- but I haven't.

Called Allposters just now and they said the orders will take up to 4weeks!!!!!! Can you imagine my dissapointment???? :x
They are really crap.....If I knew it would take that long,
I wouldn't have bought it....why did they indicate
that I'll receive it earlier, when in fact it'll take 4 weeks....
It's a birthday present to my friend for this weekend, but since I don't have the posters---arggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm a classic poster. I also make witty posts, annoying posts and occasional informative posts.

Actually it depends what you want, and how many, I have copy right for some posters for gifts., the problem is satisfying everyones' taste! But I will agree that Singapore is a crappy place for posters. Probably becuase they have to pay the royalty fees or they just do not hang posters up! I also have posters 25 years and limited edition myself. I'm a lover of art and expression in many forms!
