Help with relocation into Singapore!

Post by marieq » Wed, 01 Apr 2009 4:00 pm

Hi there, I AM A SPAMMER LIVING IN SINGAPORE

my husband has just been posted to Singapore, so our entire family (of 5 including young children) will be relocating from UK quite soon and will require all the help i can! i have heard of this XXX while in London and we have always been tempted to be a member. i do know of quite a number of friends who are XXX members and they have been singing praises about XXX being a very good help with soucing shopping items, planning holidays and even getting nannies.

Now that i will be relocating to Singapore, and i am aware that they have a Singapore office, does anyone have any previous experience or heard of them? or are there any companies you'd suggest or have previously experienced? Will greatly appreciate any comments!

i think if you are willing to do the leg work with a bit of research, you can acheive what XXX can do for you. this forum has a lot of members that probably relocated without any 3rd party help and has tons of useful info to help you along.

just fire away what you want to know about relocation to singapore...

Marieq - I'm with Durain here - this site is very helpful and we have some great people here. When we relocated from Australia we spent a fair bit of time using the search function and just generally reading.

Post back and specific questions after you've had a look/search around - plenty of people are here to help.

Cheers, mr. P

This is a bit suspect because no one refers to their helpers or maids here as nannies. If they told you they'd help locate one, they were misleading you. Also, why would you trust an organization that uses an adverb to modify a noun? Are you sure you have the name right? If you are indeed moving here from the UK and not trying to advertise your services here (which truth be told, it sounds like) and you have children in school -- you will soon have access to all the free advice you could possible need. That with access to the internet should be all you need.

Good catch RNT.

The IP address of marieq is 124.66.131.34 which is in Singapore. And sneha1011 happens to be the only poster on the board with the same identical IP.

Spammers. They get tricky. All references to the company have been removed.
