Hi there, it's been a while since the group posted an update on our Wednesday Night Lau Pa Sat fun so here goes!
We are a group of about 10-15 people in our 20's from all walks of life and from all over the place (Ireland, UK, OZ, US, etc...) and we meet up for cheap tiger beer and satay every Wednesday night at Lau Pa Sat hawker centre. Afterwards we generally head of to wherever the night (or the best drinks deal takes us!). And don't worry we have both drinkers and non-drinkers so all are welcome.
Details for tonight and every Wednesday are as follows:
Meet at 7.00pm at Raffles Place MRT Passenger Services desk (by the turnstiles) and walk over to Lau Pa Sat. If you can't make it as early as 7, we will be at the satay stalls at Lau Pa Sat from 7.30 til about 9 usually so just look for a big group and its most likely us.
PS, a few of us also go out most weekends, so if your up for some good party sessions, your more than welcome to tag along!

Haha - We have had 40 + year olds join us so it really doesn't matter. If anyone is interested please email
[email protected] (thought I would just tag on to this and push it to the top than writing it all out again!! Thanks Irish!)

Hi Sally,
Thanks so much for your note!
I'm a newbie so can't respond yet, but I had noticed this night out on the forum - i'll definately come along, count me in!
I'm not in town until early May, so I'll be in touch again nearer the time - but it's great to know that there's some fun group things to look forward to!
Thanks again & see you soon!
Rosie

Hey everyone - just a little reminder that we are going ahead as always! Beer and satay in Lau Pa Sat and tonight there are even plans for painting the town red after we have all been well fed!
So the deal is meeting by the passenger services desk in Raffles Place MRT at 7pm, then by 7.15 we all head over to Lau Pa Sat.
Hope to see you there

Hi
Usual rountine, tomorrow (Wednesday) night at 7.00pm at the passenger services desk at Raffles Place MRT station, then off to Lau Pa Sat at 7.15pm.
If you are late, just come ahead on over to Lau Pa Sat, we normally sit at the Satay Power stands and if all else fails, look for a big group of expats with more jugs of beer than you can count, thats usually us!!
See you there- new people always welcome!

Hey everyone - the tradition continues as does the routine (see last post for details) Easiest is to meet us in Raffles Place MRT at 7 in front of the Passenger services desk - you can't miss us! Then we all head to LPS for some beer, satay and a few laughs. Everyone is welcome as always
Any questions -
