good pub in changi for transit!

Post by cinder » Wed, 01 Apr 2009 10:11 am

Hey all,
one of my friends just informed me that he's gonna transit in singapore for about 6 hours today! any idea where to grab a pint or two where we can catch up? maybe a light dinner too.. from about 530pm to 10pm.
i am thinking either inside public area of the airport (had checked Changi website, but good bars are all inside the transit area), or somewhere nearby within 15 mins or so cab ride.

thanks a lot in advance..

There's a pseudo-Irish pub in the public area of T1:

For landside dining, Soup Restaurant on the 3rd floor of T2 is my favorite -- great local Chinese food and you can totally forget you're in an airport (try not to miss the flight :P)

there are some restaurants at T3 - which i didnt know before. but as long as i can see, there is no bar around; it's confirmed that pseudo Irish bar is the only one in Changi T1, T2 and T3's public area.
in the end, i managed to convince him to just grab a cab to clarke quay and have couples shots at Highlander :)

thanks Jp and Porridge for the info.
