Dragon Boat Newbies Day

Post by Seppy » Wed, 01 Apr 2009 9:29 am

Hi folks,
We'll be paddling at 3pm down the river if anyone would like to come along and try it. It's fun and a great way to meet people, then having a BBQ and a keg of beer after. No experience necessary, everyone welcome.
The cost will be about $20 depending on number of people to cover the beer. Bring whatever you like to throw on the BBQ.
Just get down to Kallang Riverside Park for 3pm for paddling or 5:30 for the BBQ. Click here for Map

See you there!

If you are interested just reply here.

[Pls don't post your phone number, Thks, Baf, Mod]

Hi, all. I have always wanted to try boating. Is anyone welcome to join? any age, race, gender restrictions? Sounds like fun, esp BBQ after the activities. Cool way to make new friends as well.

What to wear? hmm... something comfortable and you don't mind getting a bit wet.. on that note perhaps also good to bring a change of clothes.

What to bring? a smile, some energy and ... hmm anything else u like.. but don't really need to bring anything in particular (as there'll be paddles, life jackets, and refreshment) oops i forgot to mention SGD$10

Also - as it is ANZAC day we're off to a nice little pub for a few drinks (all are welcome to join) later in the evening .. so if you want to bring a change clothes for that or can always go home shower up and come back out (think most of us will be taking that option).
