A friend of ours is looking for a general math tutor for their 17-year old, who is a 2nd year Junior College student. They're willing to pay the prevailing rate. Does anyone know of a math tutor or where is a good place to find one? I will do a thorough Google search, so I'm more interested in hearing first-hand information. Thanks!

Be wary of anybody offering you their services as tutors via websites. It's different if they are recommended by regulars of this forum but those with few posts are just soliciting and will be deleted once we spot them.
