Anyone with a good idea how to stop receiving these junk advertisements in your post box? Is it true you have to pay singpost a fee just to be excluded? Because that would be just ridiculous, I want to save trees and my money too!
It really is such a waste of paper and often my paper recycling bag is just full of these adverts.

Paying SingPost will only stop the mailed junk. Most of the garbage is done by peons paid to stuff the letterboxs every day. These are old uncles, pimply faced kids and aunties paid by piecework so they have a little board that they use to shove the piece of garbage in your box. I've caught a number of them and warn them that if I catch them stuffing my box with garbage I'm gonna take it out and stuff down their throats. But they don't keep the jobs long and another new one is out there taking it's place in a day or so.

SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers

I get more junk mail than I do mail for me.
I usually just check my mailbox once a month, and bin all the junk in one go.
Out of interest, how does one get a job stuffin junk into other peoples mail box, and is it cash in hand ??

LOL... are you "uncle" age yet?
i was told the new HDB postbox, you can stop your postbox hatch from openning as the postman open the back to post your letters.

Our post box doesnt have a flap. I caught some guy which I assume is a mail man stuffing all the boxes with all sort of flyers. He had all the boxes exposed, the whole thing was opened with some master key like a big swing door.

If you have a dog, the stiff post card flyers make good pooper scoopers.
