Does anyone know of a good vendor to buy a sewing machine in Singapore? Any recommendations as I left my Singer in the US. I just resigned from my job and want to start up the hobby again. Any recommendations on a model would be great too.
Any sewing clubs out there? Especially quilting (as if we need quilts in Singapore!)

There are Singer shops all over Singapore. Brother is also popular here as well.

I don't sew, but have been known to do embroidery in years gone past while working offshore on the oil rigs. Did a lot of macrame as well. I'm a crotchety old guy by the way....

Hi, I know of a quilting group at Tanglin Mall - sorry don't know the name of the shop. The class takes place actually in the shop. Also Creative Escape on River Valley Road does classes too.
regards.

I was also looking to buy a sewing machine and done some research- may go for a secondhand one instead to learn some sewing skills first.
Check out : Nancy Ng
