Australian looking for job in Shipping Industry in Singapore

Hi,
I have travelled to Singapore a number of times this year and absoultely love it. I have been considering moving there to live for a couple of years or longer. I have been looking at job opportunties in Singapore, more so in the Container Shipping Industry as I have eleven years experience behind me in that field.
If anyone has any information regarding searching for a job in this industry or any contacts, I would love to receive them.

As in Port Operations, Stowage Planning, or Reverse Logistics (handling empties)? Try the various shipping company websites as well as Singapore's two ports: Jurong Port (http://www.jp.com.sg) and PSA (http://www.singaporepsa.com or http://www.psa.com.sg)

I will definitely have a look at them.
I have had a number of years of experience working for a shipping agency and a principle shipping line. Most of my experience is in the field of customer service, booking and container releases. More recently I have been doing a combination of external sales and internal freight rating quoting for a company called Hyundai Merchant Marine.

So you were with HMM. I know that Hanjin has been looking for people recently. Try sending your resume to them. Also try going to jobstreet.com and type 'shipping' as a keyword. There are a number of jobs listed there for the shipping industry. Most are for general shipping execs., handling B/Ls, L/Cs, empties, etc.

Oh yah, take a look at http://www.m-i-link.com and click on the 'Job Centre' tag (to the left hand side). All sorts of jobs for the mariime/offshore industry, however, most are really old but a few good ones do pop up from time to time...
