Moving to Singapore for 2 years from Canada

Post by rajiv_tech1 » Tue, 24 Mar 2009 11:31 am

Hello,

I am currently negotiating salary with a company for a job that would require me to be in Singapore for 2 years.

How much in expenses am I looking at per year? The company is paying full benefits.

I am single and will need an apartment or whatever place to live in Singapore.

Is it true that average rent is $3000/month? How much are utilities? Phone? INternet? Subway pass?

PLease let me know asap! Thanks!

Rajiv.

How much are utilities? 100-400/mo depending on Aircon usage.

Phone? 35-150/mo

INternet? 35-100/mo

Subway pass? 250/mo will take to from east to west & back for a month.

PLease let me know asap! Thanks!

Gook luck Rajiv--moving from Canada my husband keeps our aircon at 25 degrees all day every day. Needles to say our aircon bill is double the highest expectation.
