Is pirate software illegal in Singapore?

not to detract from the discussion, but a question: If you buy a copy of (exhorbitantly expensive) Windows, take it home and install on two machines (both at home) According to MS - not legal, according to me OK, am I wrong?

Is there any difference between that and installing it on multiple machines in your office?

By right, you're supposed to buy 2 licenses or one license for 2 users if you wanna install the same from the CD onto 2 computers.
