Yeah, I have heard a thousand and one bad stories about working with Qatar from some who were from there, and even from cabin crew who aren't from there. My friend is highly discouraging me to go for it because she thinks I'll die from all the control. Haha.

But I believe that if you want to work with a Middle Eastern airline, you gotta learn about the culture that will be very different from Singapore.

And I think the mindset is to tell yourself that you're there to work and not to have too much fun. There is fun in every job but there are limits too...[/quote]

Nicely said..what i do when i am back in base..i try to catch up with my friends but that is quite difficult coz most of the time our rosters don't meet and me being blessed i found my other half here.
Like i said it is a great challange to live in Doha but u if u come with an open mind then i am sure u will survive.I have frens who said they would stay for only two years and look..we are going into our 4th year soon.Time passed so fast that u don't even realise. We complain everyday, pple get on our nerves..but that's life. It's how u want to handle it.Fun..fun begins when we are outstation..Layovers some are short some are long..depending where u go n which flight u operate..
good luck for the interview..just b yourself n show that beautiful smile!

I am going down this Sunday. This will be my first airline interview so I am not sure what to expect. :?

But anyway, I will be going in a top, black pants and black blazar complete with black heels.

For ladies, would it be better to bun up the hair or leave it down?

just a gentle reminder.. Please be formal and pleasant.. i would say bun up the hair will look neater, on top of that, please put on make up ((: and remeber to smile people..

my friend just got called.. that's early! I expected it to be a little later. Don't know if I will get called though, she was seated a row behind me, but she got called first. Perhaps they called at random. At least I hope so!
