ey, in the newspaper, it just said.. Open Day: Interactive Information Session only. Does this mean it has no interviews yet but submissions of CV only? how do you guys understand this one?

Kaleidoscope AND babie_gal: We got email because we've applied online. I think the team that sent us the email mass-send whoever's applied, be it with or without photograph/meeting the requirements or not.

If it's Open Day, you don't have to apply online beforehand. However, if you feel unsafe and are afraid you'll lose something, just go ahead and apply. :)

princessschot: Hi! I think we understand it's just submission of CV because we've heard from our friends/read on forums before. Do read up a lot to know more, you'll always gain, isn't it? :)

nectarin: HAHA! I thought that you're a girl too! Sorry. Anyway, I don't think it's only for girls, if it is, surely they'll mention it somewhere. Just turn up for it!

Just go! Give it a try! If you don't make it and really want the job, try again and again and again. I've known some girls who've tried 9 times to finally become a/an SQ girl. 8-)

Hi! Could you please share a little about getting your own accomodations in doha? How much rent for what kind of apartment, distance from the airport, what's the cab fare like to the airport, what does an average and reliable car cost, and whatever other details you can share. Thanks.
Why would u want to move out of the accomodation when everything is free??You don't have to fork out a single cent if u're staying at the accomodation it's a nice n decent apartment with a bus to pick u up to n from work..
Well if u insist on moving out n living on ure own..half ure salary would go to the rent n that EXCLUDES water n electrical bills. And u have to find ure own mode of transportation..well if u have a car then u'll b paying for the car so basically end of the day u'll end up with..no savings!!.Average rent in Doha is QR4500 for a two room apartment n that is without furniture..so go calculate if it's worth it to be living out on ure own... :)
