OMG Guys I just tried the best cupcakes in Singapore so far! They are called Swirls Bake Shop and I randomly came across them when walking along Robertson Quay... I am so so happy they opened, really needed this!

My personal faves are the ones from Room for Dessert (http://roomfordessert.com.sg), My Fat Lady Cakes (http://myfatlady.sg) - really beautiful little shop along Haji Lane, and Muffinman (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Muffinman/103589793060173).

All worth breaking a diet for! \:D/

I actually just tried Swirl cupcakes yesterday. The place was quite hard to find if you're not familiar with the area. Had to call the shop twice before I finally figured it out. Also note to drivers, the nearest public parking space is in Gallery Hotel ! It's a bit of a walk. Anyway, after all the trouble, i don't think their cupcakes were great. I tried the red velvet & nutella. They just taste like plain chocolates and the icing were grainy. Not fluffy at all. I like soft fluffy icings. I've definitely had better cupcakes than those ones. It's so sad that Singapore doesn't really have any good cupcakes like in the US.
Let me know if anyone finds one !
