Sharing and cooking

Post by Adamkl » Mon, 16 Mar 2009 10:59 pm

Hi everyone,

I have a question again.

I am checking out adverts for sharing a apartment / condo and there seems to be a few which state cooking allowed.

Can you let me know if this is the norm and if you can't cook in the apartment what are you meant to do?

cheers

I have tried to find a post on this subject already but had no joy!

those that wont allow you to cook probably be staying with the landlord and they dont want to share the kitchen with you. given the choice, i think they dont want to share the toilet either! so what you are renting is a room and the use of the toilet. the landlord expect you to eat out everyday or eat pot noodles in your room.

you can get other rooms with shared toilet and kitchen. everyone in that property is usually a tenant. so for your search, make sure you know what you are getting.
