Photography club

Post by prc » Fri, 13 Mar 2009 11:05 am

Hello,
I have recently moved to Singapore, and I am interested in joining/creating a new photography club for those who, like me, love taking photos and want to make new friends.
I have a DSLR, a Nikon D80 and although I have been using it on and off for about 1 year, I still need some serious practice and i'd love to meet other people who I can share ideas with and learn from.
Let me know what you think.

Hi There,

I'm interested in joining. I have a Cannon DSRL but havent had the opportunity to use it often.

I am also looking to do a Cannon course so I can learn how to use my DSRL to its full capability.

Cheers, S

[quote="Silvy"]check out these two websites -

http://www.techcraftngrafix.com.sg/index.html

http://www.johnarifin.com/[/quotefor the next level soon. :D

I have been to John Arifin classes and have honestly say that it was the best class I have attended. You come away knowing how to use your camera and not the Auto focus button.

I will be going back to do the next class wih John. :D

I realise these previous posts are old now, but I have only just arrived in Singapore, and took interest in reading these reviews.
Has everyone now done the John Arifin class? Was it good? Or was the other one better?
Am looking to do a class in October, with your recommendations. Cheers.

I went to Willy Foo's class and he is a great guy, great teacher, lots of experience and not too expensive.
There is also a singapore photographers club with loads of members!
www.livestudios.sg/

Also look on facebook for Willy foo and also Singapore photographers!

John Arifin's class - December - new to Singapore, anyone keen?

Post by CNSGP » Sat, 07 Nov 2009 6:10 pm

Hi, I'm going to take one of John's classes, I've emailed requesting the day classes on the 9,10,11th of December.

I'm just moving to Singapore and have a few weeks off before starting work.. is anyone else new & keen to join this class as well?

I haven't bought a DSLR camera yet -- will work out which one I want to buy after the course.
