European films

Post by hweller » Fri, 13 Mar 2009 10:33 am

The only films that I seem to see advertised in Singapore are either american blockbusters or asian films. Is there a movie house or specialty DVD store that sells European films? - I would love to know.

Thank you

Oh, that's very interesting too me too! Thanks for posting.
Back home I had a cinema right around the corner that was frequently playing European movies - I haven't watched any for ages now :?

I would be interested. I presume you are suggesting the evening. Can you suggest a show time?

Shall we watch "The Reader" at Cinema Europa in Vivocity this Saturday?

The movie is at 6:15... So let us meet at 545 at the ticketbooth. Then we can grab dinner and talk about the movie afterwards?

Regards,

Moto

OK. I'll be there at 545. I've heard that is a good movie.

I've got shorter blonde hair and glasses. Probably have a grey shirt on. Try to find me.

Films at Gallery Theatre

Post by mrAlek » Wed, 06 May 2009 6:44 pm

Hello:

I'd also like to mention that the Gallery Theatre @ National Museum of Singapore is showing some European films on the weekend of May 15-17, 2009.

I am organizing a trip to view an Italian film on the evening of May 16, 2009. Please see the forum post in the "Events, Making Friends" section.
