Miss Swan, when did you arrive back on the little red dot's fair shores from your home in India? How many EntrePass business plans have you done so far?

Lucky_tiger, be very careful of people soliciting your business here on a forum. You may well find somebody else submits your business plan before you do if your ideas are any good.

I would suggest you contact a professional to help you. I believe you can find a few links on my links page. I cannot vouch for any of them but several are well known and were recommended by at least one member of this forum.

Hi SMS, my home's not in India, I just happened to be posted there for a while. Posted back to SG couple of months back - I must say it's good to be back!

EntrePass business plans, can't say I've done any but I can easily Google up to see what they require and advise lucky_tiger accordingly. Purely out of goodwill. No intention absolutely to charge anything, so it's all good :)

Miss Swan,

May I enquire what kind of business are you planning to get into? I am working on my business plan and like to mingle with people with the same entrepreneurship spirit. I just got back from the States and am trying to find like-minded individuals.

I'm sure you already googled how to write a business plan, but just in case you're not aware, bplans offers some good guidelines how to write an effective one as well as get financing.

Free feel to pm or email me at melissalogy@gmail.com if you have any more questions or would like to talk about how to get started in Singapore or South East Asia.

I believe that if you follow the link and leave out all the outline points of the business plan, you may well fail in your application for entrepass.

My belief is that a business is assessed on it's ability to include the main outline points, which is basically an understanding of how to run a business.... Business plans vary in accordance to there objectives, for investment a more detailed run down of figures, that are logical and feasible will be looked at, and how you will achieve the results.

It's all too easy for someone with business knowledge to see, the Walter Mittys' of the world, and throw the plan straight into the bin.

When it is reviewed, it will be reviewed in a way, to serve it's purpose, and if that purpose is for an entrepass, I should imagine, they would like to see a detailed outline of the major functions of the business plan, with realistic goals, within a 8 to 10 page presentation. So don't think that short changing the appraiser will be beneficial, they want to see, that you understand the fundamentals of running a business and how you will achieve your goals. So you need to extract the relevant information from the full detailed link you have posted.

Just for your info in case you havent checked out the MOM...they have specified the data you should include in your business plan for an ENtrepass.

-business idea
-products/services
-market analysis
-financial
-management

if you have a unique idea...the better. also if you have any proof of previous business, certificates, clients...put it in the plan.

goodluck :)

My advice would be to do the majority on your own.
Your business plan should be in your head and you know best how to put it too paper. As for the structure of the business plan try to consult some websites and business books and try to fill in as much as you can on your own.
You will soon find out which areas you are not able to handle and can seek specialized advice for those.
Good luck with your business!
