Hi,
Wondering what the cost of medicine and pharmaceuticals is in Singapore.
Is there a government cap on costs?
In Japan, most procedures and medicines have a set price, which is much cheaper than the US.
Wondering how Singapore compares.
EG An endoscopic exam with anesthesia in the US was about US$900 if you pay cash and $2000 if insurance pays + biopsy separate.
In Japan, it was about US$300 cash for the same exam + biopsy separate.
Medicine is about US$3 to $1 Japan for expensive meds, and about the same for cheaper generics.
Is there a site I can search for medicine pricing in singapore?
Thanks,
David
