Help! my macbook screen is broken

Hello!
I recently moved to SG and unfortunately my macbook screen was broken during transportation. Went to check Apply repair shop and they quoted me $1,000 for changing the screen while the new one is $1,588!

Any thought options in a lower rate?

You can get screens for a lot less than that.
