Trying to find out if I my Canadian PS3 will work with the power in Singapore or if i need to buy a special AC attachment (other than the cord).

I don't know the voltage in Canada (I assume 110v same as US) but we are on 240v here, if that's the case then no it will not work unless you get a transformer - available in many electrical shops here. I'm not really a fan of transformers, they get hot and use power and are ugly, but that is an option - the other thing to look at is: Can you find a switch on the back of the PS3 that allows you to switch the voltage - it would be close to the power on/off switch, many computers have this now, but I'm not sure about PS3 and I cannot check mine at the moment as I'm out of the country.

FWIW, my PS3 operates on 100 to 300 volts so all I did was use an adaptor I purchased at Harvey Normans for 3 SGD. Look at the writing on the power supply of your PS3, it should say 100-300vac.
