Is bringing a large dog to Singapore a problem?

Post by O&J Huijsse » Thu, 19 Feb 2009 6:41 am

HI, We are looking at relocating from Sydney to Singapore with my husbands job. One of my concerns is that we have a labrador X golden retriever (and a cat) and I am unsure if houseing would be a problem for us with a large dog? ... and if it is possible, can you give us any indication of what would be a ballpark figure for rent for a family of 3 plus the cat and dog.

Appreciate any info on this.

Cheers
O&J

O&J, try using the search function on the upper left side of the page you are looking at. Works a treat. The subject has been discussed a number of times.

Don't worry, many people in Singapore keep big size dogs as well. It's best you consider a place with preferably a garden to give you dog some running space. Good luck!

yeah, shouldn't be a problem, I see lots of big dogs here in Singapore. Depending on where you want to live, the rent could varies, but it's a good time for bargain though, I think.

i think large dogs are only allowed for apartment/condo type of housing..the usual housing here like HDB dont allow it.
