Scuba Diving in Nov or Dec

Hi, i'm a female chinese. I'm going to Pulau Redang from 28 Apr to 2 May for a holiday. It's a beautiful island with many good diving sites. I plan to do scuba diving for 2 days but my friends don't dive.

hi, do you go with your friends? u just need a dive buddy or also need someone to share the room too? my friends also don't dive. and i'm interested in going redang this year. hope to receive your reply soon.

Consider tioman. It is a better diving destination.

I disagree. I found the diving much better in Redang... Its further from the mainland, so vis is often much better for a start

I dived in Tioman, Similans, and Bali before. Personally, I won't go to Tioman again, nothing much to see there. Will check out Redang in April.. and maybe Sipadan or manado later this year...

Anyone interested? Looking to go to Palau Redang as I have read it is a beautiful place. Also great place for beginners and diving. I want to go for another diving trip in Nov or Dec. The places I can think of include Sipadan and Manado. Other places can also be considered. I like to do 3 or 4 days casual diving, no liveboard. Anyone interested please PM me, so that we can start the planning early..

Nov and dec are not the best months to visit sipadan or manado. These places are in season between mar and oct period. Might want to consider phuket of similans (which is better for liveaboard). Let me know if you are interested =D

Thanks. I have been to similans. Are there any other places that I can go for diving in Jan or Feb?
