Looking for ex flyers part time flying jobs at Jetstar

Post by dannie700 » Mon, 16 Feb 2009 9:38 pm

Hi am working at Jetstar as Cabin crew and know they are looking to recruit part time crew around April / May. As far as I know they are looking for ex flyers but willing to give anyone a go. I come from Europe and have been flying with them for six months now and money is not 'superb' but job is great, crew is fun altogether lovin it!

Hi Stellajane
Its me.(Hardly see u on msn nowadays)

Well, here's a piece of info that i can share with.
I saw this from the jetstar webbie..Check it out..
http://www.jetstar.com/sg/en/about-us/w ... th-us.aspx

And this is what i found from jobsdb website..
http://www.jobsdb.com.sg/SG/EN/Job.asp?R=JDBS131182901

So still not sure whether they really need experience as their main priority requirement to apply for this position..Beside, its only for part time,i'm sure the salary and allowance wouldnt be that much..But on the bright side, why not give it a try, submiting resume since many airlines nowadays hardly have any recruitment excerise.I did and see how it takes from there,if there's fate

Ola babe,

Yeah hardly on MSN as my work usually tire me out. Anywayz I agree that there's no harm trying for a part time. I am thinking of doing full time study and part time work. It's just a 'what if's with me really.

Nevertheless have already applied. haha..no ans. Guess flying experience do count, aye?
why not!~

Hi sorry for late reply had a few probs getting on site. Send all resumes to [email protected]
It is for part time roles and they are looking for experienced crew so perfect for you mums with a bit too much time on your hands, just like me a few months ago. Have asked will they consider non experience and yes they will but preference will be given to experience. Hope this helps!

Hi dannie700,

Thanks alot for sharing this recruitment updated news. You mentioned that the pay is not 'superb', but may I know how much is the range of the pay, as in like for example can it be around 1.5k/mth or more than that? let's say if i have banking service experience.

Really appreciate your reply,
Stella :)

Try reading the advertisement properly and observe the following;

Have at least 3 years of work experience as a Cabin Crew previously

The fact that the position is part-time does not mean requirements will be less, it is the same job as full-time members therefore requires the same aptitude.

Hi Plavt,
Yeah initially when i checked on one of the website,if i could recalled back,it didnt stated these little details..Well,that's the reason why i posted it to share with others..But after the next day, when i've checked again, unfortunately these details just 'popped out' from the webbie..Perhaps they already made some amendment for the mistakes or i just simply missed that part, misread that piece of info.

Whatever the case is,i would like to apologize and thanks for clearing up the misunderstanding
