CFA exam, get books or study material?

Hi all,

I plan to take the CFA exam. Right now, I got books from schulmanreview, a seminar program specialized to take this exam. My question is whether these study materials are sufficient, or do i need to get the original books? Feedback is very appreciated !!!

i was told to get the swizcher (sp) guides. that will do. It basically summarises the important points whereas the textbooks or recommended readings tend to be misleading especially if you are on self study.

The guides are comprehensive (rather thick) costs about S$420-450 you can get them at financial perspectives or the other school.

self organised groups sounds like a good idea. class are so expensive & the % passing's rather low.
