year-end bonus...how much is expected?

I work in the treasury department of a large private banking firm. Although the year-end bonus varies from the overall performance of the company (of course), I am really curious about the range of the year-end bonus to receive. Could anyone give an indication in terms of X months salary in a "good" or a "bad" year? At the same time, I have heard that people in the HQ, based in Europe, got a 12-months year-end bonus last year (last year was a good year though....).

Singaporean law says salary has to be paid for 13 months, ie. you get one month bonus always. Anything else is up to the company.

So at least i can count in 1 month of year-end bouns. Is this law also applicable to international finance firms?

As far as I know it applies to all companies in Singapore period... but check your contract, it should be written there.
