Guys,
Do you think Cathay pays better salary as compare to SQ?
Do you think Cathay has longer night stop as compare to SQ?
I heard that Cathay also provide 1st year accommodation for new cabin crew.. so isnt that obvious that Cathay is better than SQ?

If the answer is so obvious to yourself, you already have the answer to your question pretty.

I doubt there will be any recruitments for CX for time being as CX is now offering its flight attendants unpaid leave of between two weeks and 12 months, beginning January 1, 2009, as a result of the reduction in planned passenger capacity growth.

Hi fionn,
Yes. you are right. All CX recruitment had stopped. Last yr Oct was the spore based recruitment. As for sporean hk based recruitment, it stopped since 1997. Since 2006 CX recruitment, it is all spore based.
Cheers!

SQ to hire 2000 more cabin crew
I’m taking this as a positive sign that the flight industry is coming back, perhaps now it is finally safe to say that SG is reopened for good.
