Yoga on the East Coast

Post by Taipan » Fri, 13 Feb 2009 8:36 pm

I am looking for a friendly yoga studio on the East Coast for a beginner. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks - preferably near Marine Parade Road / Siglap.
Cheers,

yoga - community centres

Post by blondi » Sat, 14 Feb 2009 1:34 pm

Hi
Check out www.one.pa.gov.sg

This is for community centre courses - there is a South Siglap and Siglap and Bedok Community Centre all have daytime and nightime Yoga and Pilates courses running. There are lots of other courses too.

The courses are usually 8 weeks long and $65-85

Check them out :)

Hi Taipan,

I'm also looking for a place that offers yoga or hot yoga in the East Coast. Message me and let me know if you have found any good places or need a work out buddy. :D

I used to attend yoga courses in South Siglap CC. There's 3 different instructors there.

I perfer the classes being taught by Jennifer Lee.

The other instructor who is good & popular is Rose (I think) but she'll work you like crazy!!! Too strenuous for me! :D

Can I check is it safe and healthy to practice different type of yoga in a week?

I am doing Hatha Yoga on weekday at my workplace. Thinking of doing other yoga at the CCs over the weekend?
