toshiba 1800 satelite series battery

I need to buy a replacement battery for toshiba satelite 1800 series .. have been to toshiba at kallang and the guy said they dont carry these batteries anymore....seems like usa and australia have them but surely there must be a place in singapore to get one...after all this is a techo place...any ideas please

i have manged to find a place to get the battery at Sim Lim square..now just have to build up the courage to go there....like going into the Lions Den over there...

have you check with www.pchub.com/uph ?

also, if you got your old battery, you can ask around if they do a battery repackage. what they do is to remove the old battery in the casing and replace them. i was told some store in sim lim does it.
