Cats in condos??!

Post by AFCChris » Thu, 12 Feb 2009 6:34 am

Maybe a silly question but do condos allow people to have pets, and cats in particular?

I'm moving in May to the country and will be bringing our 2 cats.I know that it might not be ideal to have cats who might not be able to go around outside like they would back here in the UK, but that's not an issue and could be OK in a low rise condo, but I just wondered if there is any rules against cats in these sort of developments?

Appreciate any info

Regards
Chris

Yes--cats are allowed in condos.

But I imagine it is on a hit and miss basis. There may be individual condos owned by people who have no interest in having tenants with cats--but we have a cat and nether the development itself, nor the owners of our condo/apartment had a problem with renting to us.

We were very upfront about having a cat during negotiations.
