We bought some stuff made from recycled teak from The Shophouse at Lock Road when we moved here more than 7 years ago. It still looks the same as the day it was delivered and we have had no problems with cracking and splitting, which people often complain of with teak furniture which hasn't been properly dried before manufacture. I think some of their stuff is made from new wood now but you might find something suitable there. They have a website and a big showroom off Alexandra Road.
