Singapore PR Child citizenship Status(delivery in Singapore) ?

Post by mark1981 » Sat, 07 Feb 2009 12:55 pm

Hi,
Me and my wife are Singapore PR and Indian citizens.. We're expecting our 1st child (son) in a few months.

A few mind boggling questions:-

1) Will son automatically be Singapore PR ?
2) and what about his citizenship ? Is he still Indian Citizen?
3) Since he is a second generation PR, what about his NS?

Any expats need some help about this

regards
Mark

You see the button in the upper left side of the page? The one that says "Search" and has a image of magnifying glass next to it? It works fantastically. All you have to do it put in a few words like {PR child +"born in Singapore"} in the appropriate fields and click the word "Search". Surely you can handle that! After all, the government did deem you intelligent enough to give you PR.

Sorry if I seem harsh, but this site, as you are aware of, is a huge treasure trove of information. We have to do the same thing to answer you.......
