Bed side digital clock with radio - where to find it?

Post by cinder » Fri, 06 Feb 2009 9:40 pm

Where can I find the digital clock, the type that you put on your bed side? It has radio on it, and is going to blast the news from the good 'ol beep (or any other radio) at your set time, loud enough to wake the dead..

Thanks a lot in advance.

Any department store in Singapore with an audio/visual department? Best Denki, Hardly Normal, Even the large NTUC's like at AMK Hub. Phillips has them I know (one sitting by my bed that was picked up for a song at the annual Phillips sale at their factory in Toa Payoh.

I went to Best Denki Great World City, and saw couples of Philips and Sony digital clocks with price range from $100-$200ish. I didnt fancy any of them and decided to check ones at Mustafa since I will go that way anyway. And I saw a model, exactly the same as one model shown at Best Denki with almost $200 price tag, at only $32!

How could that happen?? I know Mustafa's prices are cheaper.. but so much different?

I bought a basic Philip clock, given with worldwide warranty, and it has at least 6 brochures in 6 exotic languages explaining how the thing works.
:? Maybe that explains..
