Naked couple not THAT cool

Several nespaper articles report how a naked couple were coolly strolling through Holland Village shopping centre 2 Saturday nights ago. We were there sitting at the tapas bar and saw these 2 from about 5 meteres away as they stood and chatted to people, and then got another eyefull when they walked back through the street in the other direction. They both looked VERY uncomfortable. The girl was attempting to cover her modesty at times with a towel or pashmina? she was carrying.The guy was blushing and appeared to be doing this naked thing under considerable duress (as distinct from undress!)

These two were anything but cool!
So were they having a bet with someone?
Hope they got a good payout cos their $4,000 fine is gonna set them back a bit! Maybe they did it for each other as some kind of 'proof of love'...who knows? Wierd all this.....

I saw that too and wondered if it was a stunt for a porn site or something. Hard to believe they'd do it for a dare as they could end up getting a cane across the backside for offending the dignity of the public. lol!

certainly seems a bit out of the normal in wild Singapore but was it a dare? a protest? or were they just out of their minds?

I mean its a strange way to show ones love like 'hey lover lets go strut down holland village naked to prove our love."

Im going with the out of their gourd theory.

Just curious if they were expat westerners or locals! Got to be westerners for sure, locals just wouldn't risk the cane....but some of the British MP's would

and probably not mind paying the fine

Base on what I recall from the newspaper report, the asian girl is currently a understudy researcher from A*Star, and the western male is having an attachment in one of the local university.
