That the problem with not having enough emoticons to express the exact tonal inflection here. Wasn't trying to be hard (hence the razz smilie & the question mark?) Just trying to give a light-hearted sarcastic response similar to the ones the the locals always like to give us about leaving the country.

Just an observation, and not trying to hijack the thread -- but I think the razz is the most dangerous of all emoticons. It is almost always meant in a light-hearted, fun way -- but always comes off as mean-spirited and just plain annoying. I almost never use it.

I think is Perth is a magical place. I love it and might be persuaded to live there myself. Good luck with your job hunting.

well ive been in the navy for 15 years... done lots of stuff like courses in safety and management..
hopefully works for a year or two and migrate there...
