Me and my family (including infant son) moved into a condo half May 2008. A couple of weeks after moving in, construction works started adjacent to our condo - currently we are living amidst 5 construction sites. The building noise has become so bad during the day, that it is virtually impossible to have a decent conversation in our house.
Before moving into the apartment, we specifically asked our real estate agent about any planned constructions. He replied he was only aware of 1 site, for which the noisy groundworks had already been completed. Obviously this is a bit hard to believe if only weeks later 4 other sites start their activities, but I have no facts.
Does anyone know where to find information on which construction is planned in Singapore? For example, is there a website from the government that developers are required to post development plans to?
