IKEA sells a few (but only a few) 100% opaque models.

You can always scan the classified section in the newspaper. I just called up several people and a guy came to my house with samples and installed them within the week. You can choose how elaborate you want them to be - I just wanted the MOST basic model and was easy and not too expensive considering I didn't have to install.

thank you for your reply!!!
cbavasi who did you go through at the end - we are basically looking for something simple and basic as well - plus someone that could come, measure it all and install it!

thanks for your help!

Spotlight at plaza singapura has quite a few, too.

Lainy - I found the receipt and it was New Style Enterprise Tel: 63162292
Make sure you ask to see all the blackout samples so you can see the different prices and quality. I wasn't fussed on the pulleys or material being fancy b/c I wanted a roller blackout behind existing fabric curtains. Hope this helps!
