Which is better for viewing action movies? Are the Hitachi speakers good? Thanks.

best if you view them with your own eyes.
I'm leaning towards the Aquos.

The problem is that the stores tend to manipulate the TVs (by using blu-ray discs etc.) which doesn't give an accurate picture. Also, what looks good may not be the best. Hitachi picture quality is great but the sound in action movies I believe is not that great. Aquos has "banding" but does that really affect picture quality particularly for sports and action movies? Why are you leaning towards Aquos? Thanks!

let's put it this way, when you goto the demo, bring your own media that you know and play it on the same player on both. then you will get a like for like comparison.

and yes, sharp is notorious for it's banding but i think it's been sorted on all their newer models.

as BodyBlitz mentioned, let your eyes decide. one man's LCD could be another man's CRT.

well, if you're getting a 46", then you'd be getting a better source like upscale 1080p DVD player or a BR player no?
