hi all,
i'm looking for a transfer maid who is good with kids, cooks well and is hardworking and pleasant. I'm willing to give 2 sundays and 2 weekdays off as my hubby is only off on sundays as well. 400 sg dollars is also fine by me as long as shes experienced in childcare and cooking. Also it would be great if shes worked for indian family. thanks for help.
PS- it seems that some of the maid agencies are so not interested in helping south asians/ indians to look for maids...they're so rude...like sorry the maid only wants to work for british/european employer and bang down the phone--wat is up with that.... i mean at least give us a chance...not everyone indian/ asian is a horrible monster. lol.

haha.. I had the same treatment by one of the maid agencies. I am a chinese-australian expat. I spoke to them in mandarin so they thought i was a local and told me that their maids only want to work expats. So don't worry, you are not the only one.
Plenty of other agencies around.
I found it easier to email them to ask for biodatas and ask the maids to come to your place for the interview. Have an email account which agencies can't tell what nationality you are.
