Frankly I was expecting a lot more from this topic heading.

Over Christmas back in Australia I pulled a thirty year old kite out of the shed and she took to the air like she was bland new. Ahem, after convincing the old man that stainless was not a suitable material for a replacement cross bar.

Two lines for steering is a must. Anything less bores me to absolute tears.

Hey Elska!

I'm staying in Sengkang now and I pass all those kite flyers on my way home after some weekend errands I've done in town area. :) I didn't know you're from around here. :)

Marina Barrage is also quite a nice place to fly your kites except that it's reeeally crowded on weekends!!

I wouldn't suggest ECP though, i've seen so many kites stuck in the trees there.

Also, anyone know kite can be flied in which part of the Bukit Batok Natural Park? Because the park is too big.

Marina Barrage, West Coast Park and the open area near the new curise centre are some nice area to fly kites.
A word of caution to all kites flyers please do not purchase any kites from Kites Gallery especially if they ask you to made payment in advance caused a few of my friend including me have paid money and order some kites from them since 2 months ago and until now we have not receive our kites and always they give excuses saying that their supplier in China delay the shipment.
