Does anyone know where to buy a decent kite? I've seen so many fantastic kites this weekend and with the windy weather set to continue, I'd like to give it a try. Is there a specialist kite shop anywhere?

I was thinking to go fly kite as well!!!!
The wind is blowed so strong lately, that give me a feeling ~ i want to fly kite.
I'm not sure where can buy a special kite but i understand that at Marina Bay area should be able to get a decent one?
If you wanna fly a kite, let's do it together.

Maybe Marina South, there's a kite shop there some years back.

Does anyone know of any good places that are central to fly a fairly big kite without upsetting anyone. We are used to using it on large deserted beaches, a very tall order perhaps to find a large open space in central Singers....

Hi everyone,
I am a fan of kite flying since I started a month ago
. It is so thrilling that I fly every weekend. I do not know of venues near central but I normally fly at the open field in Pasir Ris opposite blk 232, its a newly open road. Normally there will be a wide array of beautiful kites on weekends from 5pm to 7pm. Do drop by and if you dont have a kite, there is a man who sells kites from $10. Mine is a big black bat and it flies really high. see you soon.

Hi guys,
i'm not soo sure if this is an "advert" but its more like a community based initiative. What's new in kite flying in singapore is that there is now a local forum to help answer or even for all to gather info, chit chat and what not.
It's been setup by a group of kite flyers and it's not from any organization or such.
Help yourselves to
http://kites.sg

I see these guys form my window every evening (expect Sundays) and the view is amazing. Best to go to Brewerkz during the evening and check them out yourself, they will be just around the corner of the building flying their stuff as usual.

Actually, one of my friends was diagnosed with COVID-19 by PCR, but he could still fly.
We all convinced him to postpone his flight to not expose...
