Do I need to registrate to the gov in such condition?

Post by jesseyu1984918 » Sun, 18 Jan 2009 10:15 pm

Recently I brought back several pieces of painting and decoration from a foreign country, there are may be 100 pieces or more than that and they worth 50 SGD each and more. I found they're not so useful and want to sell them on ebay, then the total amount would sums up to more than 10K, should I register to the gov before I sell or it's ok if I take them as second hand stuff? :o

No, you don't need to "registrate", although you might have to declare it as income in your tax return. GST registration is only needed once you start making >S$1 million/year.
