Hi all
I will be working in the area code of 609930 sorry do not know the district number at this stage but at intersection of Boon Lay Way and Toh Guan Road - the Strategy building at the International Business Park
Can anyone let me know of suitable family accommodation for young family from UK/Ireland in the area -yip i know a bit of an open question - is it an area frequented by expats ??
Also what are the rail links like there -how far to the city centre etc
Many thanks for the help
regards

Should be district 22.
Not sure about accommodation in that area but it seems to me that its mostly HDB estates.
Jurong East MRT would be the closest. Really far from city centre, would take around half an hour or so by MRT, maybe 20mins by car.

Here is a start.

The bottom right corner is Int'l Business Park. The upper left is the Jurong East MRT station. It's within walking distance. That means you can live anywhere from Kranji in the North, Boon Lay in the West and Redhill to the East and still be within a 20 minute MRT ride to the Jurong East Station. By MRT it is only 25 minutes from Jurong East MRT to City Hall MRT station.

the good thing about singapore is wherever you live, there's always a mini city nearby for your shopping, food, etc. therefore no need to goto city centre.
