I checked out the website of italkBB. They even have a Singapore local plan for S$11.99. So actually u can get the plan and ship the box to US. Connect to broadband and can call Singapore unlimited. Looks interesting.

I use magicjack. I bought one for my home in Singapore, and I keep one here in my home in the US. If I call from one magicjack to the other, it's free. And each magicjack comes with free calls to the entire USA and Canada for $20/yr. A true bargain! Plus, if you buy into their international long distance plan, it's only 2 cents/minute to Singapore...A real deal. I loaded up $10, and that gave me 500 minutes talk time to any Singapore number!!!

And the bonus is you can take it with you, as long as you have broadband internet.
