Can Singapore Work Pass allow me to visit Malaysia?

Hi,
I am working in Singapore and have Singapore work pass. My family has dependents pass and mother on long term social visit pass.

Do I need to apply for a Malaysia visa if I want to travel across border just for a weekend?

The fact that you have a SG employment pass doesn't mind at all for Malaysian authorities.

So you must look if you are required for a VISA to enter Malaysia based on your nationality. Very few countries requires a VISA to enter on social visit, anyway.
